Istria named the best olive oil region in the world

Rome was host to the recently held international manifestation Flos Olei 2018. The place where international supply and demand meet for one reason: to taste, discuss and choose the best olive oils in the world. It also witnessed yet another acclamation for Istria, which was named the best olive growing region in the world.

We already wrote about the importance of international guide of world’s best EVOO Flos Olei and its editor in chief, Mr. Marco Oreggia. Upon publishing the latest issue of the guide, Mr. Oreggia started presenting the current issue (2018) across the world. Rome was an important part of this tour. These manifestations are a perfect place for connecting olive oil producers listed in the guide with representatives of importers of highest quality EVOO from across the globe.

Istria – The strongest olive oil region in the world

The extremely flattering title of the best olive oil region in the world was awarded to Istria third year in the row. This is extraordinary honouring for all producers of high quality extra virgin olive oil on our peninsula. A sign that we do something better than everybody else.
