Gold for EVOO Bilini – 6th Olive Festival in Zagreb

The Olive Festival in Zagreb is an event organized for the 6th year in a row by the Zagreb Olive Institute. The association was founded in 2011, with the aim of promoting, developing and improving the quality of olive growing in Croatia.
The organizers of the Olive Festival initially intended an event for the people of Zagreb who grow olives on the coast. However, their Festival soon attracted olive growers who do not live in Zagreb, and among them some famous olive growers who want to confirm the quality and their invested labour by sending their oil sample to the competition.
Generally, professional gatherings, educations and lectures are held as part of the Olive Festival in Zagreb, but, unfortunately, this year – due to the pandemic – these activities were not possible.
Bilini extra virgin olive oil at the 6th Olive Festival
This was the first “performance” of our extra virgin olive oil at the Olive Festival in Zagreb. The sixth “edition” of this event has just been held.
Organizers sent information about diplomas and awards to the contestants yesterday. EVOO Bilini won the Gold Medal! ? We expect to receive the diploma and medal by mail soon.
We are extremely happy for this success. Recognition for all the work means a lot to us.
We are sorry that this year, due to epidemiological measures, the event could not be held live.
But we hope (like everyone else) that next year the situation will be much better and that we will have the opportunity to spend time at the Festival, socializing and sharing experiences with other olive growers.
